How does White Label Web Agency grow sales for multiple companies — with a simple recommendation? We spoke with Andrew Baxter, founder and CEO, to learn how White Label’s agency partners have seen sales increase for themselves and their customers with tawk.to.

1 - First of all, can you tell us a little bit about your business?

We're a private label agency that provides IT services and outsourced options for anyone that needs a web development team without the expense of hiring an in-house staff.


Our partner agencies are like managed service providers. They don't have Web staff, but all of their clients have Web sites. So for them to hire a staff and wrap up to be able to build websites, digital marketing and everything else would be quite costly. Basically, we provide a seamless branded solution.

2 - How do you use tawk.to at White Label?

So basically, we provide tawk.to as a live chat option for our agency partners, so they can provide that to their clients. We only have a couple of direct clients. The other clients are all through our agency partners. 

3 - Why did you choose to use and partner with tawk.to?

The reason we chose to work with tawk.to and become a partner is that most of our partner clients and their clients require live chat. The problem is that most of our clients are small businesses and some are like mom and pops. There are only maybe one or three or four people, and they don't have the budget to hire multiple agents. So with that, a lot of our partner agencies asked if we could find a cheaper option, which led us to the internet. And that's when we found tawk.to. Not only was it cheaper, it was free.


So I said, okay, I want to get on board. I want to tell my clients my agency partners about this. I want to send them links. [tawk.to] gave me information I could send, and I never looked back.


It’s perfect for us because we are a web agency and are able to monitor all of our partner agencies and their clients from one dashboard.

4 - How do you promote tawk.to?

Well, first off, we have the banner, the partner banner on our website, and we always talk up tawk.to to all of our agency partners, and they do the same with their clients. 


None of the clients that my agency partners have use anything else. If they have live chat, it's tawk.to. They've all dropped the paid subscription. And why not? Why would you pay for something that's free and is actually better than the paid subscription?

5 - What benefits are you seeing as a result of sharing tawk.to?

So one of the things that's happened is most of our agency partner clients have seen between a 20 to over 100% increase in their sales for product and for their services.


We have a client that works with nonprofits and takes cars for auction. Since they started using tawk.to, their donations have increased over 100% in the last year. Mainly, it's because they have a staff. They have, I think, four people that man the staff. So not only do they have an English website, but they also have a Spanish website, and tawk.to is also on the Spanish website. They get a lot of people from the Hispanic community, especially Mexico, some that don't even speak English. So they're getting a lot of donations because most of the other agencies don't provide that.

6 - What advice can you share with new partners at tawk.to?

I would encourage everyone first to become a partner at tawk.to and encourage all of their clients to get it installed on their website. If they're using a paid service, I would absolutely tell them, cancel that service. Sign up for tawk.to. First off, you're going to get better service, you're going to get better quality products, you're going to get more features and it doesn't cost you anything.


The other thing I would encourage them to do is get their clients to take advantage of the resources that tawk.to provides. Take advantage of hiring the chat agents.


It's important for clients and customers to be able to get a response. Some of my clients, they shut down after 05:00 or 06:00, and then they depend on offline messages. And I've noticed that when I talk to some of my agency partners, they asked, “What could we do? Because our clients are complaining they lost their business. They lost some sales." I said you can encourage them to sign up for chat agents. You encourage them to have someone answer that phone. Even if they don't have the right answers, they can say, “I'll get back to you.” So the importance of having a chat agent, whether it be your own or whether it be tawk.to agents, is incredibly important.
